I started my career in 2019 as a general labourer for a residential developer. Through hard work, a willingness to learn, and a genuine love for the work, I progressed through the ranks — from Equipment Operator to Lead Operator and eventually Site Supervisor. Along the way, I completed a formal Earthmoving Operator course in Cape Breton to sharpen my skills behind the controls.
Working through every level of a construction operation gave me something classroom training alone never could: hands-on experience with the full lifecycle of a build. Land clearing, grading, septic system installation, well drilling, foundation work — I've been on the ground for all of it. During the winters, when I wasn't responsible for clearing roads throughout entire communities, I was inside working alongside carpenters — framing, installing windows and doors, hanging drywall, laying flooring, and finishing trim.
That range of experience is what IronRidge is built on. I eventually started a business in Nova Scotia before relocating to Newfoundland to be closer to family — and I brought everything I'd learned with me.

My goal is simple: do the work properly, communicate clearly, and make sure every customer feels confident recommending IronRidge to the people they care about.
